Install

Installation is a relatively easy process. Read the Manual and the Quickstart guide for full information on how to use and setup your alarm. We suggest that before you fix any sensors you register them to the control panel and name each zone by sending it a text message as detailed in the user manual. Use the RF Code Query (Menu 1: View --> 7: RF Code Query) to identify which sensor is programmed to which zone. Any sensors that are part of a standard kit will have already been registered.

Consider registering any door/window sensors as 'Stay Zones' and PIRs as 'Normal Zones'. This way the alarm can be set at night and the perimeter is protected but you can still walk about the house.

When attaching PIRs to the corner of a room ensure you observe the recommendations for height. Attach the bracket sufficiently far enough away from the wall so that the sensor can be easily slid onto the bracket. Once tested remember to move the small internal jumper clip from 'test mode' to 'normal mode' or your batteries will be exhausted very quickly.

Unless you have wired sensors connected do not set these or you will find the alarm permanently activates. If this happens call us for an alarm reset code.
