Features

The Premier Wireless House Alarm has the following features:

• Zones: 99 wireless, 9 wired - 8 pre-defined names that can be associated to any zone; SOS, Fire, Gas, Door, Hall, Window, Balcony and Boundary. The names cannot be changed.
• Zone Types: each Zone has a Type to determine how it should respond when a sensor linked to the zone is activated. These are:
  
  1. Real-time: if armed the alarm will trigger immediately.
  2. 2. 40 secs delay: if armed the wireless burglar alarm will trigger after this time. This can be useful on entry/exit doors but using it can give an intruder valuable time.
  3. 24 hrs: the alarm will trigger immediately regardless of whether or not it's armed. This type is used for Panic Buttons, Smoke & Gas detectors so they always work.
  4. Bypass: Used to temporarily isolate a zone/detector from the security system. Great for when pets are left at home. The alarm will not trigger.
• Home Zones: any Zone can be configured as a Home Zone that will either alarm or not.
• Armed States: these determine to what level the alarm is armed. The house alarm will trigger in accordance with its Zone Type. The armed state can be set from the Control Panel, Remote Key Fob or via a telephone by calling the house alarm and pressing numbers on the phone’s keypad. These are:
  
  1. Full Arm: any sensor that activates will trigger the alarm. Maximum protection.
  2. Home Arm: only sensors linked to a Zone defined as a Home Zone will trigger the alarm.
• Timed Arm/Disarm: it is possible to set the wireless house alarm to automatically arm or disarm at 3 different times every day.
• Emergency Calls & Emergency Button: The wireless house alarm has a built in microphone and speaker so you can use it like a normal telephone or two-way intercom to monitor what is happening in the home. The Remote Key Fob also has an Emergency Panic Button that can be activated to trigger the alarm immediately.
• Voice announcements and message recording: during programming the house alarm provides helpful voice prompts. It is also possible to record your own message that will be played to those who receive a call from the alarm.
• Power fail alert: should the alarm lose its mains power it can send a text message to warn you.
• Signal Check: the Premier Wireless Burglar Alarm can give an accurate numerical indication of the signal strength in your area, giving you peace of mind on the coverage of your chosen mobile phone network.

Install

Setting up the alarm is easy and the alarm provides voice prompts to help you with the coding. All sensors that come with the kit are already coded to the alarm so you just need to enter the phone numbers you want it to call and text. This is carried out by enter a two digit code followed by a short sequence of numbers.

If you need to code additional sensors to the alarm the same procedure of keying in a two digit code followed by a short sequence of numbers is necessary.
