Zone Continually Activates

If your Elite House Alarm is continually activating displaying the name of the zone and attempting to dial out then it is possible that you may have the incorrect wired zone type set even if you have no wired sensors attached.

  1. Turn on the house alarm
  2. It should run through a self test
  3. If no wired zones are in use you should see "Test Wired Zone" followed by oooooooo
  4. If wired zones are in use the oooooooo will be replaced with a c for any zone that is in use
  5. Turn off the alarm

 

If wired zones are in use:

  1. Disconnect the 6th, 7th and 8th wired zones
  2. Turn on the alarm
  3. Enter the setup menu > 2. Wired Zones Set > 1. Nodes Type > 3. NC Type to change from NO Type to NC Type
  4. Use the ← to go back though the menu
  5. Turn off the alarm
  6. Reconnect the 6th, 7th and 8th wired zones

 

If there are no wired zones in use:

A factory reset needs to be carried out. Call us for the code or check the manual that came with your house alarm. We will only give out the code to the person who purchased the alarm from us. If you are a new owner of a property then you will need us to provide us with some proof of tenancy or house ownership before we will provide this information.
