Description

This wired PIR movement sensor can be used as an alternative to a wireless sensor or where existing wiring is in place for a previous alarm. It is a dual element sensor with 3 levels of sensitivity.

Install

  1. Install at a height between 1.7m and 2.5m. Recommended 2.2m for maximum effectiveness.
  2. Position so that an intruder would walk across the front of the detector rather than walking straight towards it, i.e. try and avoid pointing it at a window
  3. Do not point at direct heat sources, mirrors that can reflect bright lights or position above radiators
  4. Requires a small hole to be drilled in the rear for wires to enter
